Party Foods That Don't Need Many Ingredients

Parties take a lot of work!
Fortunately, none of that has to be wasted on prepping food if you do it correctly. The following four recipes are fun but straightforward dishes that can liven up any party and keep people feeling satisfied.

Cream Cheese Fruit Treats
Thinly slice a baguette or another kind of firm bread. Mix sixteen ounces of cream cheese and half of a teaspoon of vanilla, with half of a tablespoon of sugar. Spread mixture a quarter of an inch thick over bread: rinse and dry berries of your choice. You can slice these to make them more visually attractive, but if you don't have the time to pull out a cutting board, you can use smaller berries like blueberries and raspberries. Serve as is, with a bottle of honey nearby if anyone wants to drizzle some on top.

If you want to make the presentation for this more beautiful, you can cut fruits like strawberries into heart or star shapes and create good color schemes by mixing and matching fruit.

Blue Cheese Potato Chips
Another take on nachos is a fun and exciting way to make a large tray of food that can be easily tossed together. Preheat your oven to 350, and lay tinfoil down onto a cookie sheet. Spread out a bag or two of plain potato chips. On top of this, drop clusters of blue cheese, bacon, and whatever seasonings you'd like. You can give these a touch of sweet and savory by drizzling with bacon jam as well. Bake for ten minutes until the cheese is soft and fragrant. Top with thinly sliced green onion and whichever other flavors you'd like to include. Serve immediately with lots of napkins!

The quarantine famous Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread.

Pull-Apart Bread
This recipe is simple and to the point so that you can get out of the kitchen and into the party! Take a round loaf of bread, like sourdough, and make a cross-hatched pattern of cuts on the top. Cut down into the bread, leaving about half an inch from the bottom uncut. Slice frozen butter and cheddar and shove these icy slivers into the cuts on the bread. Follow by putting in seasonings like garlic, oregano, or rosemary. Bake for ten to fifteen minutes at 350 degrees, and serve!

Broiled Open Face S’Mores
A three-ingredient recipe by nature, broiled s'mores give you the chance to make a toasty gooey chocolate treat for the whole party without having to spend more than five dollars. Lay tin foil down on a cookie sheet, and then set squares of graham cookie crackers down. On top of that, put a segment or two of chocolate, and then top with a giant marshmallow.

Set your broiler to low, and place this on a medium-high rack in your oven. Broil for three to five minutes, checking on them frequently until they reach a toasty golden color. Serve on a large tray immediately! The most vital part of a party is that you have fun and make some memories. Why are waste hours cooking when you could be enjoying the people around you?

4 Tips for Throwing a Kid-Friendly Halloween Party.

While Christmas stands front and center as a favorite holiday for kids, Halloween doesn’t shy away from sharing that spotlight. With its promise of delicious candy and incredible costumes, the holiday brings plenty of fun opportunities to the table.

This fact becomes even more profound when you are tasked with throwing a kid-friendly Halloween party. The pressure to plan a perfect evening is so palpable that you can practically taste it. But it isn’t nearly as delicious as any popular Halloween candy.

To help you rise to the occasion and plan a stellar get-together for your child and their friends, here are 4 tips for throwing a Halloween party for kids.

SM Entertainment's annual Halloween party.

1. Go Big on Invites
No matter what type of event you’re planning, formal invitations stand out as an essential part of the process. This also holds true for Halloween parties, even if you are organizing them for kids. In fact, they are even more prominent when your guests look at the event as the highlight of the season.

By picking fun, warm, and welcoming designs for these invites, you can fulfill the recipients’ expectations without any issues. As long as you maintain a joyful vibe through your chosen design, you can achieve your goal of making the party a memorable event for your child and their friends.

2. Pay Attention to Costumes
When you throw a Halloween party for kids, you need to show you are serious about the event and not brush it off as a silly tradition. The best way to achieve this feat is by finding womens and mens costumes for Halloween to wear during the party.

Regardless of whether you dress up as a space princess or a superhero, this small step can ensure plenty of joy for all your little guests. You can also go a step beyond to match your costume with your child, which can become a Halloween tradition and elevate their joy to no end.

3. Set Up Games and Activities
In order to make the party a fun event, make sure to plan some games and activities that can keep your guests busy. This can range from a Halloween pinata to candy Jenga. If your child is excited by the idea of winning prizes, you can tie these games to some sort of reward.

You can also set up a showing of popular movies for kids, ensuring that their time at the party stays free of boredom. It all depends on what your child wants to do. But the more activities you have at the party, the more fun it is for the participants.

4. Plan a Big Party Menu
If there’s one thing that kids love more than dressing up, it is eating delicious food that stands apart from home cooking. From burgers to pizza, you can plan a big menu for your party to treat your guests to an enthralling Halloween evening. While the dishes don’t have to be fancy, you need to make sure that they are appetizing for everyone.

To make sure that you aren’t going against any dietary restrictions, you can get in touch with other parents before finalizing your menu. This helps you stay away from uncomfortable and unsafe situations while also keeping your young guests’ wellbeing in mind.

Final Thoughts
Throw in a few decorations, and you can make sure that the party becomes a highly excitable affair for your child and their friends. As a result, you can easily pull off the otherwise complicated task of throwing a memorable yet kid-friendly Halloween party.

3 Reasons to Have Live Music at Every Party.

In the recent Power of Live Study conducted by Live Nation in partnership with Culture Co-op, nearly three-quarters of respondents stated they believe the moments that give them the most life are "live experiences."

That alone should tell you how much importance people place on live music experiences but if you're still on the fence about whether you should book a musician for your party, think back on the parties you've attended. Which were your favorites? Did they include a live, interactive band with great musicians that made them stand out in your mind? If the answer is yes, you'll immediately understand why you should have live music at every party - otherwise, consider these three reasons to always provide this unforgettable experience to your guests.

The doctors of Hospital Playlist (2020).

It Makes the Event More Exciting and Engaging
The energy and excitement that comes with live music really can't compare to even a very well thought out playlist. Live performances carry an energy that recordings just can't match - by the time that recording plays, it's been changed multiple times, assessed and adapted to radio, but when it's live, the artist or group of artists are performing their craft directly to the audience. That type of one-on-one communication is powerful and can't be matched by any playlist.

Live musicians also know how to get the crowd excited and engaged, giving any party more of an upscale feel. An experienced leader of any band not only sings or plays an instrument, but knows how to interact with guests while also assessing the atmosphere of the room to choose the best tunes to play. It's a communal event that transforms the group of people who are all sharing the experience together, creating a tangible sense of community. Other research focused on live experiences confirmed this, with an Eventbrite survey revealing that nearly 80 percent of millennials stated that attending live events typically makes them feel not only more connected to the community and other people, but to the world.

Park Hae Joon in The World of the Married (2020).

You'll Have Fewer No-Shows
One of the best ways to get people excited about attending your party is to have live entertainment. It automatically brings that "wow" factor most are looking for - they'll immediately know it's not going to be a boring event where everyone is sitting around twiddling their thumbs trying to come up with something clever to say.

The Liar and His Lover (2017).

Higher Quality Sounds and Songs
With live musicians, they can change up the style or tempo to accommodate your requests or the feel of the room. With recorded tracks, the songs will always sound the same no matter how often they're played. When it's live, the artists often add their own unique flavor and style. Plus, the sound will be much higher quality than what you'd get with a playlist.

Another issue with using a playlist is that it takes a significant time to put together something that will last throughout the party, and no matter how much thought you put into it, it's extremely challenging to accommodate everyone's preferences. Having live music frees you from this arduous task, eliminating the need to consider the music preferences of every guest. Good musicians will have lots of experience performing live and will know how to keep the energy up with a playlist that's much more likely to be a widespread success.

Creative Ways To Celebrate the Holidays.

Time-honored traditions are fine in their place. Every once in a while, however, it can be fun to try something new. Who knows, a creative celebration that you try this year may become a new tradition.

You may have several celebrations with different groups of people: family, of course, but also friends and/or co-workers. The celebrations you hold with each group are likely a little different from one another. However, you can find creative ways to celebrate with all three.
Christmas at Lotte World. :)
Anyone Holiday gift baskets are appropriate in almost any context. They can be customized to the occasion. Click here to learn more.

Another great idea that can work with almost any group is to work together to do something charitable during the holidays. There are plenty of ways to spend time together while supporting a worthy cause, such as a toy drive, a bake sale, or serving food to the disadvantaged.
A very Korean Christmas basket.
Co-Workers
The holidays can be a touchy time at the office, especially if your workplace is particularly diverse. However, you can change this perceived negative into a positive by holding a multicultural festival. Just about every culture has some sort of celebration this time of year. You can ask workers to bring traditional dishes and take the opportunity to learn more about the backgrounds of others.

An ugly sweater party is also a fun way to celebrate without privileging any one culture. The popularity of such parties has given rise to a whole ugly sweater industry, and looking silly together at a gathering puts everyone on the same level.

Friends
In 21st-century America, people tend to associate costume parties with Halloween. Traditionally, however, masquerade balls were held during the winter holiday season. With post-Halloween markdowns, you and your friends should be able to find inexpensive costumes easily, and for a touch of class, you can rent a ballroom and hire a DJ for the occasion.

During the festive time of year, people in communities all across the country decorate their houses with lights to create some stunning displays. It costs very little to find or rent a car for the evening, drive around, and dazzle yourselves.

Family
One great way to spend time together as a family is with a holiday-themed read-aloud. These can be the traditional seasonal stories, but they don't have to be. You can choose new favorites as well. You can stretch this activity out over several days or weeks, allowing each family member to choose a book to read.
Yue loves Christmas in Korea! :)
You do not need to confine the decorations to one or two areas of the house. You can help your kids decorate their own rooms for the holidays and encourage them to get creative.
Creative celebrations are a good way to remind yourself and those around you what is important this holiday season: spending quality time with people you care about.

A Quick Guide for Bachelorette Parties.

Are you planning to hold a bachelorette party before your friend’s wedding? Then you might want to know the steps that you need to do in order to make the event successful. An option for you is to hire adult entertainers, exotic dancers, and strippers. For more information about strippers, click this link here. This will make your bachelorette night a fun-filled activity of cheering, laughing, drinking, and enjoying the performances of these professional performers.

If this is your first time hiring a stripper for a hen party, then here is a guide for you. If you are looking for a handy step-by-step guide on how to make your planned entertainment flawless, then you are on the right page.
What You Should Do When Hiring Strippers
1. Get the Bride’s Opinion in Hiring a Stripper
Check with the bride if she wants a stripper on her hen party. Even if there’s a huge chance that the bride will agree to a stripper, it is still best to check on her and get her opinion. She might decide to invite her sisters, mothers-in-law, and other prudes who might not appreciate a bachelorette party with a male entertainer.

If the bride does not agree with a male stripper, there’s still hope. You can provide an eye-candy b going into restaurants where shirtless waiters serve meals. Remember to do a bachelorette party where the bride is comfortable because it is her party and it is her last night to a party as a single lady.

2. Decide whether you go to Clubs or Do a Private Bachelorette Party
When the bride agrees and she is comfortable hiring a male stripper, you have to choose between hiring private strippers and going to club revues. If you live in a metropolitan area, chances are, there are lots of venues with lots of exotic dancers that perform the whole night. However, an advantage of hiring a stripper is, the entertainment becomes a private offer which everyone in the party can enjoy.

There are pros and cons of going into the club. Some pros that you can consider are the following: more male entertainers, various choices of food and drinks, larger venues, and non-stop shows the whole night. The cons are the following: that the bride-to-be is not the center of the show, not very private, and expensive drinks and food. The pros are: the party becomes a private affair which all your friends can enjoy, you can choose the look of your male entertainer, no worries about drunk driving, and the main object of the entertainment is the bride.
The life of the (hen) party.
3. Find an Entertainer from a Reputable Company
If you agree to hire a private male entertainer, you will need to find the one that will suit you the most. The internet can be a great place but only if the company that you have found is legitimate. You can click the Majesty Male Strippers link to know more information about hiring a reputable company.

Choose a stripper that is available locally so you can meet up before the event if possible. Note that some of the time, the stripper won’t be able to make it on the night of your party because of some emergency. A reputable company will be able to send you someone as a replacement. However, beware of this method. Some of the companies display photos of models from different websites. This means that your chosen stripper might not even exist in the first place. Another option for you is to go to a local nightclub and see if there’s a stripper available that can perform on bachelorette parties. Make sure that the one you chose respects your rules, practice safety, and suits the bride’s taste.

4. Ask the Proper Questions When Hiring a Stripper
You have found the perfect stripper and you are wondering what to do next. If this is the case, then the next thing that you should ask is the rates of the male entertainer.

• How many hours is the performance going to last?
• How much is the rate is per hour?
• Is there a fixed package rate if you need the service for five hours or more?
• Do you cover the travel costs?
• Will the stripper bring his own boom box?
• Will he perform in display costumes? • Are there any rules that he should follow?
• Does he need a specific drink, food, chair, etc?
• Will he perform while completely naked?
• Are there rules that the women should follow?
• Are there any rules about photographs and videos?
• How should the payment be processed?
Keep the wine flowing. :)
These questions and a lot more will help establish rules and make the night smoother. When it comes to payments, use a credit card that has a consumer policy. This is your safety net when the stripper doesn’t show up. When you make negotiations, you need to be clear on what you expect and what the stripper expects. If there’s a rule that is a deal breaker for both parties, you can either talk about it or find another entertainer.

5. Expect Some Kind of Recourse on the Night of the Party
Strippers are notorious for being late. Make sure that you have their private phone number and the number of the company where they work. You also need to properly give them excellent directions to the party’s venue. If your party is held in a hotel or apartment complex, you need to make sure that the concierge or security guard expects them to avoid delays. Before the party, you have to make sure that everything is confirmed. Do not change any details yourself to avoid confusion. Make sure that the drinks and food are already prepared.
Ready to be the bride-to-be?
A Final Word
Getting a stripper can be intimidating if you don’t know where to go. The great news is that there are lots of guides written to help you hire the perfect male entertainer for your party. You just have to contact the right experts, go to a legitimate website and hire high-quality adult entertainers. Get ready for a night of pure fun where the bride will not have any hesitations of leaving the single life because she has already experienced everything.

How's Your Halloween?

When I was a kid, Halloween was a holiday that was largely unheard of in this country, or at least in the province where I live. I've only seen Halloween celebrations through cartoons and American TV shows, and have always thought how cool it was to be dressing up in fancy costumes and getting candies and chocolates in return.

Fast forward to more than twenty years later, Halloween has become an annual tradition in the Philippines, with parties and events to celebrate the spooks. Although I must admit, this holiday has become a tad too commercialized, and even I have fallen prey to it - lol.

For years, we'd celebrate Halloween by dressing up my son in a costume and taking him to the mall for some trick-or-treat-ing. Here are Yue's costumes through the years:
Halloween 2010.
Yue's first-ever Halloween costume (2010) was a pumpkin. He didn't go trick-or-treat-ing at the mall (he was only two years old then and I thought he would be too young to be doing so), but we did shower him with candies at home.
Halloween 2011.
The following year (2011), we went all-out with his costume and props, and he even entered a costume contest at the mall. His dinosaur get-up won him second place in the Cutest Costume category, by the way. :)
Halloween 2012.
2012 was a tough year for us. Yue got sick several times that year, and was hospitalized thrice between the months of October and November. But he was healthy and well come Halloween, and he dressed up as a Korean prince for the occasion.
Halloween 2014.
We skipped the Halloween festivities in 2013 because we had to attend my godson's birthday party that year. The following year (2014), Yue was back in the game and dressed up as a ninja, a costume that he chose for himself.
Halloween 2015.
In 2015, he went trick-or-treat-ing as Buzz Lightyear. But I'll let you in on a secret... he's not really wearing a costume. Those are PJs, actually, but Yue insisted on wearing them as his 'costume' anyway.
Halloween 2016.
It seemed like we saved the best for last in 2016. Yue dressed up as Darth Vader that year, which would turn out to be his last costume, at least for now. He refuses to wear a costume nowadays, but he still finds joy in trick-or-treating. After all, who would refuse free chocolates and candy?
What diet? Lol!
I was thinking of dressing him up as Finn Balor this year...
Demon King Finn Balor
Should I try this on my baby nephew instead? :)

So how about you, how's your Halloween? I hope your kids had a blast and got tons of candies!

Find a High-quality Special Event Venue in New Jersey.

If you are planning any Atlantic City special events, then you need a spacious and attractive venue that meets your specific requirements. When you are hosting a wedding or anniversary party in New Jersey, you must have an expert event planner who has an understanding of creating a gorgeous environment. In addition to needing the right number of chairs and tables, you also want beautiful decorations. You might want to rent a small venue for only a few guests, or perhaps, you need a huge venue to hold hundreds of people who are listening to a lecture.

You Can Also Hire an Expert Event Planner
When you have a busy lifestyle, there is no time left for planning an event such as an engagement party, but a high-quality venue will also have knowledgeable planners available. In addition to planning the major issues concerning a special occasion, event planners consider the tiniest details such as hiring a professional photographer, choosing floral arrangements and managing limousine transportation. The event planner remains on-site to make sure that the rented room is cleaned and decorated before the caterers arrive. To ensure an event is arranged properly, the planner at a rented venue will discuss all of your plans with you first.

An Event Planner Takes Care of All of the Details
One of the best things about Atlantic City is its proximity to the ocean, and it is possible to find a location for a special event that has an oceanfront view. If you want to have the wedding of your dreams, then choose a premier location where there are expert planners and fantastic caterers who understand how to keep the event on a schedule. You won’t need to get frazzled about decorating the wedding and reception location because the planner has employees ready to complete all of the important tasks such as arranging chairs and place settings.

Have a Smooth Special Event By Renting the Right Venue
A professional planner will also remain nearby during the event to make sure that everything is operating smoothly. After the wedding, corporate meeting or luncheon ends, the event planner continues his job by making sure that the trash is cleared away and the venue is cleaned. You and your guests are not responsible for anything when you rent the right type of venue in Atlantic City.

The Basics to Party Planning.

Whether it's a first, seventh, eighteenth, or even an 80th birthday party, planning for the occasion can be a huge and oftentimes daunting task. Organizing and overseeing a party can be quite a challenge, so it is important to have a checklist of all the important things you need for the event.

Date and Location
Before you can decided on anything else, you must first confirm the event date and the venue. Make sure that the birthday celebrant is available on the date that you have set, and choose a venue that fits not only your budget, but can also accommodate all the guests you plan to invite.

Guests
List down all the people you would like to invite to the party. Aside from family members, relatives, and friends, this list could include the celebrant's acquaintances from work, from church, or even online communities.

Invitations
Whether it's a DIY card, online invitations, or bespoke memory mags like the ones from Lifetimes magazines, make sure that the party's date, time, and location are written on the invitations. These invites should be given at least a week before the party, so the guests have ample time to prepare for the event.

Party Theme and Decorations
Choosing a theme for the party would depend mainly on the celebrant's personality, his/her hobbies, or the things that he/she likes. If she loves the beach, a nautical-themed party is a good option. If she's a dog lover, purchase plates, cups, and napkins that have cute paw prints.

Food
When planning the menu, consider two things - the celebrant's food preferences, and the guests who will be attending the party. If it's a children's party, spaghetti, chicken, sandwiches, and sweet treats (think cupcakes, cookies, and a chocolate fountain), are a must on the party table. If it's a party for the elderly, go easy on the sweets and serve healthy dishes instead.

Don't forget to factor in drinks as well. If you are throwing a party for children then juice and fizzy pop will do, but, if you are planning one for an adult, you may want to bring in some alcoholic drinks. Some of your guests may not drink, so factoring that in is essential. Non alcoholic drinks are popular, but alternatives that can still bring that bubbly feeling are rising in popularity. It would be a good idea to take a look at WYNK drinks if you want a change. You might be wondering "what makes WYNK drinks different?" Luckily, their website can provide all this information and more to help you make your decision.

Party Activities
Party activities are a great way to get all the guests involved and having fun. Parlor games such as Scavenger Hunt, Funny Bones, and Musical Chairs are a perennial hit with kids. For adults, you can never go wrong with a videoke machine (and some booze on the side).

With all the advanced planning, all that's left is the party itself! Make sure you arrive at the venue at least an hour before the party starts. This will give you enough time to set everything up and welcome the guests.
