How to Dress Baby for Bed.

When dressing your baby for bed, it is essential to choose a sleepwear made with soft and breathable fabric so the baby sleeps comfortably. A baby's skin is sensitive and it is important to choose the type of sleepwear to avoid rashes and discomfort. This is an informative article on how to dress baby for bed so your little ones will be comfortable when they go to sleep in the night. One of the tips to go by is to dress the baby as per the climate.
Baby Sol, Eulachacha Waikiki (2017).
Onesies and footsies
For the cute little ones who are still swaddling, you can dress them up in a onesie when they grow a little older. A sleeveless cotton onesie is one of the most comfortable sleepwear for the baby to sleep in. A onesie is lightweight and is appropriate for summer, spring, and fall seasons. When it's not the cold season, you can dress your baby in a cotton onesie. Do not layer or overdress the baby when they are going to sleep. You can also wear the socks to keep their tiny feet warm. In addition, you can make the baby wear a cap or booties for bedtime.

Choose a room temperature
No matter what the climate is outside, let the baby sleep in a room temperature set to 18 degrees. This is the ideal room temperature for the babies to comfortably sleep. Install a thermostat or an indoor thermometer inside the baby’s room to monitor it. Do not put your baby sleep closer to windows or air conditioning vents. Feel the tummy of your baby to check if they are feeling hot or cold.

Swaddling babies
Choose a lightweight fabric to swaddle babies. Lay the baby over the blanket and swaddle the baby folding the blanket over it. Use a soft and breathable fabric to swaddle the baby. Ensure that it fits snuggly and is not tight. The way you swaddle the baby should not restrict the baby’s movements. You can use the swaddling fabric for the baby up to three to four months. To check when to stop swaddling the baby, leave one of the arms of the baby out to check if they are able to sleep well in this position.

Use a light blanket
A blanket made of fleece or any light and soft material is good to cover the baby when it sleeps. Do not choose heavyweight or furry blankets for baby when it sleeps as it would suffocate the baby. Avoid using materials that increase the body temperature of the baby as this can be hazardous to the health of the baby and lead to SIDS.

Layer the sleepwear during cold seasons
Check how comfortable the baby is when you are layering it with clothes when sleeping. If you feel that the baby is feeling too warm then you can remove one of the layers. The body temperature of the babies is usually colder than that of adults. You can remember this point when layering the baby’s clothes in the cold season. Babies feel cold easily because of their body temperature. This is the reason you can layer the body of the baby with lightweight fabrics until the little one feels comfortable.
Adorable Baby Sol. :)
Things to avoid putting a baby to sleep
Ensure there is no smoke in the environment. Put the baby to sleep on their back instead of their stomach or on the side to avoid SIDS. Never cover the face of your baby when you are putting it to sleep. For babies older than 12 months you can use sleeping bags. If you find the baby sweating, damp hair, rapid breathing, or a heat rash, remove the layers of clothing. Do not check the body temperature of the baby by testing the temperature of their hands or feet. This will not give you an appropriate queue if their body is overheating.

Fabrics for bedding
Choose proper fabrics for bedding as well. Bedding made with thick fabric can increase the body temperature of the baby so make sure they are soft and lightweight. Check for rashes on the baby and change the blanket if it is coarse. Always choose an organic mattress as they do not emit toxic gases. They are firm enough for the baby to rest and develop their muscles. This is how to dress baby for bed and keep them comfortable through all the seasons.

Fashion Pulse | About Shop Patches.

Do you want to add a personal touch to your uniform, shirt, or jacket? Then the answer for this need is a custom embroidered patch. If you have a specific design in mind, then you can simply get a custom-made embroidered patch that can make whatever you are wearing stand out from the crowd.
Patches add a personal touch to your outfit.
What is an Embroidered Patch?
This is also known as a cloth badge. This is a kind of embroidery that is made of thread. It shows a specific design. Generally, the common patch is backed by fabric. The thread used can be made from a single color or several colors depending on the embroidery’s design. Know more about these patches in this link. The patches are usually sewn into shirts using adhesives, thread, pins, and a lot of other methods.

When did the Embroidered Patch become Popular?
Thousands of years ago, a lot of old cultures from the Middle East, South America, and the Mediterranean used stitches and fabric decoration designs in order to embellish the robes of religious people or royalties. A person who wears robes with elaborate stitches mean that he might be an important official or he belongs to the elite.

In today’s times, these patches are made to identify somebody that is in the military or in the police. A lot of military forces use embroidered patches so that they can be easily seen in public. There are also companies, sports team, or private individuals who use these patches in order to denote that they belong to a specific organization. Others prefer embroidery directly sewn on their shirts for design.

What Do You Consider as a Patchwork?
A patchwork is a kind of technique that involves putting together small pieces of fabric in order to create art. There are a lot of colors, patterns, textures and geometric designs available that the maker can sew into a specific kind of logo. This logo can depend on the client’s preference. This is also the technique in making patchwork quilts. However, the clothing interior and design have adopted this to be one of the popular trends of today’s times.
An array of patchwork.
How to Find a Great Embroidered Patch Company
If you have a logo in mind, you might not have the time to make it on your own. If several members of your workforce need logos on the organization’s uniform, you might need a legitimate company to complete the orders for you. Here are some tips on how you can find a great company for your needs:

They should let you create the design.
As there are a lot of companies out there that can recommend different kinds of patches for you, you should still be able to decide the design yourself. After all, it is you who is going to wear it on your denim jacket or on your uniform. Find a company that will let you input ideas, upload your preferred digital patch image, and can provide artful suggestions on how to improve the image without making too many changes on it. The size and the length of the patch should be clearly shown on a computerized image that is sent back to your email for your review.

They should give you information that you need.
The right patch store will make a price quote after they see the initial design. They should also add if there are minimum and maximum orders that you should know about. If the minimum order quantity is more than 300, then that’s a good sign that you are in good hands. If you are in a rush to complete your orders, ask them if they can deliver it to you at the soonest time possible.

The companies should offer you plenty of patch border options.  There are die-cut and merrowed patch borders. The merrowed borders are slightly raised on the outside borders. They can have shapes that include circles, ovals, squares, and other designs that are not too complicated to make. On the other hand, there are die-cut borders that have complex shapes and protruding edges. There should be no price difference between the two regardless of the border that you have chosen.

Inform you about free thread colors.
With patch embroidery, it can be possible that there will be more than fifty colored threads involved. Usually, companies can inform you if you are able to get 10 to 15 free colorful threads. You have the option to select your twill’s color if you opt for a 99% embroidery. Get more information about embroidery in this site: https://www.dictionary.com/browse/embroider. You may or may not be an expert when it comes to choosing the right colors that can stand out. However, the right company can certainly recommend the right colors that can suit your design in the best way possible.

Cute patches.
Other Things You Need to Know about Patches
Many choose embroidery because they are eye-catching and beautiful. However, there are certain limitations when it comes to the design of your patches. You must make sure that any words on your patch are readable. You may also want to have a simple design especially if your patch will be placed on a uniform.

Your designs should not be too crowded to look at. You can focus on a single side of your patch design and remove tiny elements. Sometimes, these tiny elements make the design too crowded to look at. Make the overall look simple and elegant. Consider giving space to the important elements.

The Bottom Line
Embroidered patches are attractive decorations on your uniform or clothes. You have to find the right company that can make your patch design into reality in the least possible amount of time. There are a lot of things that you need to consider before getting the help of a company. Make sure to ask the proper questions before you consider them. Work only with the experts and professionals in the field. Read more about patch designs on sites and magazines in order to know more about them.

Moose Play Camp 2018 | Gear up for Fun and Fashion this Summer!

I was around my son's age (he's turning ten this year) when I first came across the clothing brand Moose Gear. My brother and my cousin John owned several pieces from the brand, and they would often wear Moose Gear polo shirts and denim pants to church on Sunday or to birthday parties, family gatherings, and the like. The two boys always looked so dapper whenever they wear those clothes, and Moose Gear sort of became their unofficial Sunday best.

Fast forward to twenty years later, the Moose Gear legacy continues as it dresses up young boys in cool, comfortable, and hip fashion. This well-loved brand's claim to fame is their consistent use of high quality cotton fabric and the wide selection of styles and designs that kids (and their moms) love.
Moose Gear and Moose Girl, too!
The clothing company has also ventured into girls' fashion with Moose Girl - fun, stylish, and comfortable clothing apparel for young girls. The brand was launched in 2003, and became a hit among little girls and girls in their tweens.
Moose Gear kids - can you name them all?
Even celebrity kids are fond of the brand. From the child stars of my generation such as Patrick Garcia and Angelica Panganiban to Goin' Bulilit kids then and now (Nash Aguas, Sharlene San Pedro, Makisig Morales, and Bugoy Carino) - all of them have been part of the ever-growing Moose Gear family. The list goes on as Moose Gear continues to tap the talented and amazing kids in the entertainment industry.

This summer, it's our kids' time to shine in the Moose Play Camp 2018 - a fun workshop slash meet-and-greet activity where kids can meet and interact with the Moose Family celebrity endorsers for hours of fun, inspiration, and entertainment.

The Play Camp also provides the opportunity for kids to attend a talent workshop conducted by professional teachers and harness their skills in dancing, singing, and modeling along the way. The workshop is geared to discover, cultivate, and enhance your kids' talents with the intent of helping build their confidence so that they may shine like their Moose Gear and Moose Girl endorsers. The Play Camp also marks the launching of the Moose Summer Collection, where participants and their parents can have a preview of the stylish kiddie outfits before they hit the stores.

How to Select the Perfect Clothes for your Body Shape.

Women are beautiful. Women have curves and these curves become a topic of discussion more often than not. These curves define their body structures as per their bust, hips and waist. The amount of fat deposited in these areas is generally a factor of your genetic composition, of the diet and the exercise regime. Primarily, there are four body structures defined for women and each of them is wonderful in their own way. Dressing according to their body structure allows women to flaunt their curves in all the right places making them more beautiful. Here, we present to you the different body structures, how they are defined and what type of clothing must be worn to accentuate the curves.

1. The Apple Body Shape
This body type is usually top heavy meaning that the bust is usually 3 or so inches bigger than the hips. The arms and legs are slim but the shoulder is broad and protruding. The middle section is also broad just above the waist line.

Women with such a structure must try to avoid attention from their mid waists and shoulders. Try wearing long sleeved shirts and blouses with a V-neck that will divert attention towards your busts instead of shoulders. Wear bottoms that are flared instead of skinny ones so as to balance your upper body and lower body. Wearing the pants and bottoms below the hip bone will divert attention from the waist line. It is very important to not wear dresses which have belts on the waist as it will flaunt all the wrong curves.

2. The Pear Body Shape
This body structure is the exact opposite of the apple shaped body structure. It is defined by hips that are quite larger than your bust, and the weight gathers around the hips, the thighs and the legs. This body shape is easily identifiable as the bottom is much heavier than the top.

Women with this type of a body structure must try to avoid attention from their hips and lower body. They must wear dark coloured bottoms as far as possible. They must wear tops that will accentuate their upper body and try to make their busts appear fuller by wearing padded bras and so that the upper and lower body look balanced. Wearing skinny jeans and too flared bottoms will only make the lower portion look very dis-proportionate. They must opt for straight pants with very little flair. Wearing heels will be helpful as they will make the legs look longer. This leads us to the question: are you looking for cheap shoes? If so, you can find them by searching online.

3. The Rectangular Body Shape
This body type usually has almost similar size of waist, busy and hips making it look rectangular. This is the least curvy body as all the part are of almost the same size. In some cases, the hips can be more shaped or the bust a little larger, but the difference is not enough to be defined as an apple or a pear shaped body. As this body shape has the least amount of curves, it is better to wear clothing that will accentuate those areas. Dresses with belts, skinny jeans, and clothes having a lot of frilling layers, embellished clothes, anything that ads weight will look good. Try avoiding baggy clothing like loose t-shirts as they will make you look boyish. You can also wear all the shorts and tights that are usually designed for women as you have pretty legs which can be flaunted. Wear tracks that you find in the women’s section of clothing stores for gym and exercising.

4. The Hourglass Body Shape
This is the least common body type with equal hips and busts and a well defined waist. Their curves are proportionate and in the right places and fat usually gets deposited either in the busts or the hips. The shape represents an hourglass, hence known as hourglass body shape.

People with hourglass body structure have adorable curves which they must cherish. Wearing clothing that will highlight your waist will indirectly draw attention to your curves as you have a thin waist. As you tend to have fuller busts, care must be taken to choose clothes which do not have a deeper neck-line. Go for V-necks as they will look flattering. Avoid very loose clothing as they will hide all your curves making it look boyish which will be an injustice to your beautiful body

Although these are the four main body structures, it is not a necessity that women will have one of these body structures. They may have a body that is a combination of 2 body types in which case she must make a proper combination of clothes.

Again, there is no right or wrong way of wearing clothes but accentuating and flaunting the curves in the right places adds more grace and makes a woman look more feminine. You can select clothes for yourself from a wide range at wholesale boutique clothing and make them all envious of you.

Fashion Pulse | Spice Up Your Look.

When you’re trying to create, you can be bogged down by the sense that it’s all been done, and it pretty much has. However, originality can still come about when you take what you’ve seen before and combine it in new and novel ways. With that in mind, why not take one of the most inspiring and lasting infatuations mankind has ever had to inspire your new look? Why not use flowers to take your look to the next level? Flowers are beautiful and elegant, and there’s a reason they’ve remained a part of human culture throughout all of history.
First and foremost, consider floral print. This is an easy way to make any outfit more interesting, as long as you don’t go into garish territory. Nothing spoils a look faster than trying to do too much. Avoid designs that are too “loud” or “busy.” Keep it simple. Find a pattern that consists of a small selection of prominent colors, such as an array of sunflowers, against a dark background. You can also consider a design that pairs flowers with bees or butterflies, both of which are striking insects in there own way and have a deep connection with flowers.

Another way to spice up your look with flora is by wearing flowers, themselves. Wearing flowers in your hair has a sort of whimsical and mystical feeling to it that it sure to make for a memorable look. You can also along the top of a tube top dress to create a floral border along the chest. There are a number of ways to incorporate flowers into your look, so don’t be afraid to experiment. Fortune favors the bold, as they say. And, whatever floral needs you may have, 1800Flowers can help you build your new look.

Seoul Searching | Namdaemun Market.

Annyeonghaseyo!
Yes, my dear friends and readers, we're back in Seoul where the little man and I will be spending the holidays. We landed a few days ago, actually, and we were quite lucky to have chanced upon some very, very light snowfall the day after we arrived. (Praying for a White Christmas this year!)

My hands have been quite full the past few days - unpacking, meeting friends, grocery shopping, doing housework, and the biggest chore of all - adjusting to the freezing weather, haha! I'm going to try my very best to get some blogwork done (and reduce this mammoth backlog) in between the shopping, eating, and visiting tourist destinations. And with that, let's do some Seoul Searching all over again with a trip to Nandaemun Market.
Welcome to Nandaemun Market!
The largest and oldest traditional market in South Korea, Namdaemun Market is located right beside the Great South Gate, Namdaemun, from which its name was derived. Established in 1414 during the reign of King Taejong, Namdaemun Market began as a government-regulated marketplace with grains, fish, and fruits as the most popular trading commodities.
And we're ready to explore!
In 1945, after liberation from the Japanese, the merchants earned full operational rights of the market through the establishment of the Namdaemun Merchant Organization. However, tragedy struck the then-developing marketplace, as it turned to ruins during the Korean War and then ravaged by fire shortly after being rebuilt.
One eager beaver.
After a series of huge renovations, Namdaemun Market re-opened its doors in 1964. At present, the market is filled with over 1000 shops covering a span of more than 10 acres.
It's like Divisoria, but cleaner and safer!
With its labyrinth of shops, stalls, and street vendors, you can practically buy anything and everything at Namdaemun. From cellphone accessories to luggage tags, kitchen utensils to bath items, even cross stitch patterns, they have it all at Namdaemun Market! It's like Divisoria in the Philippines - but cleaner and safer!
Rummaging through the plushies and other cute items.
We have been warned that the place can get seriously crowded during Fridays and Saturdays, so I chose to visit on a Wednesday. Luckily, the place was not as jampacked as I thought it would be, making it a pleasant and comfortable shopping experience for both Yue and I.
See? He's all smiles!
Clothes, bags, shoes, toys, and souvenir items are a common sight in Namdaemun Market. Most of them are relatively inexpensive, and can be purchased at wholesale prices if you're buying in bulk.
Hanboks!
Chopsticks, coin purses, kitchen utensils...
Classic souvenir item - fridge magnets!
Namdaemun also has an area known as the 'Ginseng Market', which is found along the market's central path. The shops in this area sell quality ginseng at discounted prices. Both fresh and processed ginseng (tea and powder) can be bought in this area, along with a variety of oriental health food such as honey, yeongji mushroom, brown rice, and adlay.
Ginseng.
Mushrooms.
In front of an Oriental Medicine store.
Speaking of food, Namdaemun also has a wet market where you can buy fresh produce, dried fish, and other food products. This area is also lined with 'sikdang', or hole in the wall diners. (In the Philippines, these are called 'turo turo'.)
A bounty of fresh vegetables.
Nuts and grains.
Sikdang, and stores selling food products.
There's an abundance of street food in Namdaemun, too. You'll never go hungry as you hop from one shop to another.
Steamed buns.
Sugar-coated bread.
Jokbal.
Hotteok.
Egg bread!
Fish cakes!
I'm definitely coming back to Namdaemun to do some souvenir shopping; possibly within the week, if the weather permits. Staying out for long in the cold makes my migraine act up! :(
Character socks!
K-pop merchandise!
Descendants of the Sun plushies!
To get to Namdaemun Market, take the subway to Hoehyeon Station (subway Line 4) Exit 5.
