Spotlight | elf Liquid Eyeliner.

I was organizing my makeup stash the other day, and only then did I realize that I have a few items left unopened from the elf package. And although I have developed an affinity for gel eyeliners and have been using them exclusively for quite some time now, I put them aside for the time being and gave the elf Liquid Eyeliner a try.

elf Liquid Eyeliner.
The elf Liquid Eyeliner comes in a sleek, tightly-capped 5mL bottle.

So sleek, it fits most purses and makeup pouches.
Its brush is just as sleek. It has a fine - very fine, actually - tip designed to create thin, precise lines. It can be a bit tricky to use at first, especially if you're not used to working with liquid eyeliners. But once you get the hang of it, you'll love how the brush glides easily on your lashline.

So thin, I can't even get a proper photo of it. LOL.

See? :)
There are seven colors available for the elf Liquid Eyeliner; this one is 4203 Black (obviously). The formulation is a bit runny and it takes a minute or two for it to dry. But once it does (dry), it has a nice matte finish. Color is buildable, and highly-pigmented, too.

One swipe on the left, two swipes on the right.
Although the product claims to be 'smudge-proof', it's not as smudge-proof as I hoped it would be. The eyeliner wears off easily, so using this during the hot summer months would not be advisable. I actually wear this with a primer to prevent it from creasing, and to extend its wearability by a few more hours. Six hours at least, in my case.

Very, very thin lines on my lids.
Considering the price, however, you really can't complain. This product sells for only Php 129, and is widely available at most department stores.

What I love:
- Sleek packaging.
- Highly-pigmented, buildable color.
- Several colors to choose from.
- Unscented.
- Non-irritating.
- Affordable price.
- Cruelty-free!

What you might not like:
- A bit runny.
- Takes awhile to dry.
- Fades throughout the day without a primer.

Squeezing in a selca, because I haven't done an FOTD posts in ages. :)

Spotlight | elf All Over Cover Stick.

It was very thoughtful of elf Cosmetics Philippines to include the All Over Cover Stick in the package they sent me a couple of weeks ago. They must have heard of my perennial battle against dark undereyes, hence the concealer.

All Over Color Stick from elf Cosmetics Philippines.
The elf All Over Cover Stick is a concealer infused with active skin polymers and natural ingredients to camouflage dark undereyes and other problem areas. It comes in a 4 gram stick, which is very handy, hygienic, and easy to use. Simply twist the stick, apply to troubled areas, blend, and that's it!

The shade I received is 3201 Apricot Beige, which is suitable for those with fair skin.
It has a very distinct orange scent which I find quite odd. I've tried quite a handful of concealers in the past, and this is perhaps my first encounter with a scented concealer - and orange at that.

The consistency is creamy, and the product lightweight and easy to blend.
However, I suggest you wear a primer before applying the All Over Cover Stick, as it has a tendency to crease and settle on fine lines.

Now see what happens to this bruise on my right knee after using the All Over Cover Stick.
Pardon the brightness in the first photo. That one was taken with flash, haha!

Coverage is pretty good!
Not exceptional, but it works fine in covering darkness, discoloration, and blemishes. I mean, where else can you get something like this that's worth a little over one hundred pesos only?

What I love:
- Hygienic and handy tube packaging.
- Very affordable at Php 129 only!
- Creamy consistency.
- Easy to blend.
- Seven different shades to choose from.
- Not tested on animals.

What you might not like:
- Tends to crease and settle on fine lines

Pucker Up! | ELF Super Glossy Lip Shine in Candlelight.

Last week, I had the honor of receiving a package from ELF Cosmetics Philippines. And I say honor because ELF is a pretty popular brand of cosmetics in the US.

Nowadays, the brand is definitely making waves in the Philippine shore. I've read one too many blog post gushing about how great their products are. I'm grateful towards ELF Cosmetics Philippines for sending me these goodies.
Total Face Brush, Liquid Eyeliner, Super Glossy Lip Shine, All Over Cover Stick.
Having developed a penchant for lip gloss as of late, I decided to try the Super Glossy Lip Shine first.
For the lips. :)
The 10-gram tube of lip gloss comes in a simple, no-fuss packaging. And you get sun protection from each tube - SPF 15, to be exact.

The Super Glossy Lip Shine has eleven different colors. The one I received is Candlelight, which is a nude color, with a hint of peach to it.

Peaches and corals are the 'in' thing these days, so I was more than happy to receive this variant. Plus the fact that I have very few peach/coral-colored lip products in my traincase and vanity kit.

The easy-to-squeeze tube comes with a smooth glide applicator.

It does a good job of spreading the lip gloss all over your lips, although I prefer to use my fingertips to even out the color.

ELF gets plus points from me because they're cruelty-free! Good job for NOT testing on animals!

The Super Glossy Lip Shine is a steal for just Php 129. If only the Watson's at SM San Pablo carried ELF products, I'd definitely purchase another tube of this lip gloss in a different color. No, make that colors!

What I love:
- Color pay-off.
- High-shine!
- Moisturizes the lips.
- The yummy grape vanilla scent.
- Sun protection factor.
- Affordable price.

What you might not like:
- The gloss itself is thick and sticky.

Visit an ELF branch near you to score this lip gloss, and other amazing ELF products!
I'll be doing the reviews of the other products in the coming days (hopefully not weeks, haha!) so please look forward to it! :)
