Spotlight | Guerlain Chant d’Aromes (103) Rouge Automatique Lipstick.

Today, I'd like to share with you the latest addition to my collection of lip products. It's Chant d'Aromes, one of the more popular shades from Guerlain's Rouge Automatique line.

This was given to me by a friend, who works at a cosmetics store in Dubai. She's in town for a vacation, and we finally had the chance to catch up with each others' lives last Friday. Thanks for the gift, Grace! :)

Rouge Automatique.

This is the tester size, by the way. Full-sized Rouge Automatique lipsticks come in gold, 'one-hand open' tubes such as the one below. The tube doesn't have a removable cap, instead, it has a 'trap door' which swings open and slides the lipstick up once the lever is pushed.

The Chant d' Aromes is a nude, peach-brown shade with a bit of shimmer. It has a creamy texture, which allows for easy-breezy application. Formula is lightweight and non-drying, and the color stays on for at least six hours.

Oh, and the color payoff? Stunning. It definitely was love at first swipe.

Just when I thought I have found my MLBB lipstick, here comes the Chant d' Aromes to sweep me off my feet. :)

What I love:

- Great color payoff.

- Luminous finish.

- Creamy texture.

- Buildable color.

- Lightweight, non-drying formula.

- Easy to apply.

- Stays on for at least six hours.

- MLBB! (My lips but better!)

What you might not like:

- It's a bit pricey at $35.

(I believe they're sold at around Php 2000 here in the Philippines.)
