Spotlight | Human Heart Nature Berry Bliss Natural Body Butter.

As I was browsing through my blog posts from the previous year, I realized how bad my blogger burnout had been. It was so bad that the last time I did a product review was around this time in September. Maaan, that's like - four months ago! I hope I don't suffer from burnout once again. Otherwise, it might take me a year or so to recover. Just kidding. :)

Anyway, last Saturday, I had the opportunity to attend Human Heart Nature's Magalogue Turnover (their first for the year) and witness the unveiling of their new skincare products. I also had the privilege to get first dibs on two of the products that were launched that day, thanks to my good friend Elaine, Branch Operator of the Laguna Concept Store.

I'll tell you about my experience with the Strawberry Exfoliating Bar in a different post so for now, let me just focus on the Berry Bliss Natural Body Butter.

I am beyond thrilled to have received - and used - this product because for one, it smells amazing. It's no secret that I have a thing for strawberry-scented products, and this one tickles my olfactory nerves spot on. It reeks of strawberry - though not cloyingly sweet - with a scent that lingers on the skin for hours.

It also has the right consistency - neither too thick nor too runny, which makes it a breeze to apply and allows for easier skin absorption. It does not feel sticky or greasy, and doesn't leave the skin with a heavy feel.

Plus, it's made with all-natural ingredients just the way Human Heart Nature products should be. This Natural Body Butter is enriched with cocoa butter and aloe vera to intensively moisturize and soften the skin. It also contains sunflower oil, avocado oil, and soybean oil to make the skin glowing, and it's also packed with antioxidants to keep the skin looking naturally healthy.

Had this product been launched earlier (say, last December), I would have brought it all the way to Seoul. South Korea's winter weather was so cold and harsh, which made my skin dry and flaky. I had to apply lotion several times a day just to keep my skin moisturized. Next time I spend the holidays in Korea, I will make sure to bring a tube or two of this Natural Body Butter along. Heck, I'll bring this even if it's spring or autumn! :)

Spotlight | Human Heart Nature Perfect Glow Mineral Blush in Sun-kissed.

Despite the sudden, heavy rainfall last Saturday, I somehow managed to attend the afternoon schedule of the Magalogue Turnover at Human Heart Nature Laguna's Concept Store.

I wouldn't miss this event for the world. I promised the ladies of Human Heart Nature Laguna to be there at the launching, plus I knew beforehand that there will be new blushes hitting the shelves that day. And you know how much of a makeup junkie I am. Gotta get first dibs on new makeup, baby! :)

Whilst at the Concept Store, I had the chance to swatch both shades of the all-new Perfect Glow Mineral Blush. There's Pink Bloom, a cool-toned pink reminiscent of Rosy Cheeks from the old Mineral Blush line. And then there's Sun-kissed, a warm-toned coral that bears resemblance to another old shade, Tropical Rose. Remembering that I have way too much pink blushes already, I chose to bring home the latter - something that's not pink for a change.

Like its predecessor, the Perfect Glow Mineral Blush is a blend of natural Vitamin E and pure mineral pigments and contains absolutely no harmful chemicals. No chemical preservatives, no parabens, no mineral oil - none of these toxic substances. 'Only the good', as the Human Heart Nature label would say.

The most distinct difference between this blush and the old Mineral Blush is in the packaging. The Perfect Glow Mineral Blush has a bigger size at 4.3 grams (the old Mineral Blush was 3.5g), and it now comes in a sleek purple compact, complete with a mirror and a 'natural' brush.

Although the brush can pack a lot of color, I find it a bit too small and too flimsy to hold. And so I ended up using my own kabuki brush instead.

Now when it comes to color payoff, the Perfect Glow Mineral Blush has the upper-hand against its predecessor. This new blush has better pigmentation, and wears longer (around six to eight hours) than the old Mineral Blush.

It has a buildable formulation and a semi-matte finish that doesn't make your face look too made up. And true to its name, Sun-kissed gives your cheeks a nice healthy, glow - like you've been out bathing in the sun.

Human Nature | All New, All Natural.

May 5, 2012 marked another milestone for Human Heart Nature. More like milestones, actually, as lots of great things happened that day.

First was the magalogue turn-over, (in Human Heart Nature dealer terms we call it 'MTO') which was held simultaneously in branches all throughout the country.

Because two are better than one.

The May-June issue features twins Camille and Nicole Tantoco of the infamous Tantoco clan. And in case you didn't know, the Tantocos own Rustan's - the premier chain of upscale department stores here in the Philippines.

The magalogue turnover also signaled the release of new Human Heart Nature products. Launched on that day were not just one, two, or three new items. There were actually five, I repeat, five new products that hit the shelves last Saturday!

Attendees to the magalogue turnover were given an added treat, as they got to enjoy special one-day only discounts. Purchases on new products below Php 3000 were entitled to a 27.5% discount, while purchases worth more than Php 3000 were given a hefty discount of 30% off the retail price.

I may have been a Human Heart Nature dealer for three years, but this was actually my first time to attend a magalogue turnover. (Shame, shame! LOL!) I'm thankful that I finally got to experience an MTO. I was able to enjoy not just the new products, the special discounts, and the free snacks (haha!), but also the company of my fellow dealers and the staff of Human Heart Nature Laguna. It was nice to take some time away from my virtual happy bubble and get to meet and greet real people up close and personal - not just by their Facebook headshots, Twitter blasts, or Instagram photos.

Oh, and I know somebody else who enjoyed the MTO experience.

Yeah, being a full-time, hands-on-mom with NO nanny at home, I practically take the little man everywhere I go. Including business / blog events like this.
Oh well. A mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do. All for the love of the little one and  Human Heart Nature! :)
