The San Antonio Vacation Experience | Leisure for Less!

This post brought to you by SAVE . All opinions are 100% mine.
Cowboy boots. Barbecue. The Spurs. Shawn Michaels. These are the things that usually pop into my mind whenever I think of Texas. But for the city of San Antonio, there's more than just spicy-stew and wide-brimmed hats.

San Antonio, a populous and fast-growing city, is also the city of choice for most tourists. Already one of the most affordable vacation destinations in the US, San Antonio gives its visitors even more reasons to smile with SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience. From hotels to theme parks, museums to tourist spots, sightseeing activities and shopping sprees, tourists can enjoy discounts from each of the merchants participating in the SAVE program.

San Antonio is home to the famous SeaWorld, where multiple discounts can be availed.  A family of four, for instance, can purchase four admission tickets for only $189.99.

At the San Antonio Children's Museum, kids can enjoy a 20% discount off  $8 the admission rate. Meanwhile, at the McNay Art Museum, children 11 and under can get in for free! The same goes for the Alamo Imax Theatre - kids aged 3-12 can enjoy watching the Alamo on the big screen without having to spend a dime.

Limited Time Offers can also be enjoyed from the SAVE program. At the Grand Hyatt San Antonio, tourists can avail of a breakfast for two, plus a complimentary self-parking. Even San Antonio's Official Visitor's Information Center has a treat in store for tourists and visitors - complimentary gifts are given for purchases worth at least $15.

Of course, no trip to Texas would be complete without seeing the Alamo, and taking photos of it. Both kids and adults get discounts upon joining the Alamo Sightseeing Tour.

I haven't actually thought of going to San Antonio for a vacation. But now that you've posted about it, I think this'll make a really nice treat not just for kids but also for kids at heart.. ^^ Hopefully I get to visit the US in the near future though.
