Dream KPop Fantasy Concert!

Oh yes, it's real!
2013 will greet us with one of the biggest KPop concerts in Philippine history as it brings together seven idol groups on stage, for one night. Yes, one night only!

The Dream KPop Fantasy Concert will feature one of my most favorite idol groups UKISS, along with Girls Generation, Infinite, EXO M, EXO K, Tasty, and Tahiti. This huge event will be held at the Mall of Asia Open Grounds on January 19, 2013.

Tickets will be available starting October 14, 2012. Super VIP, VIP Diamond, and VIP Platinum tickets can be bought at the Megamall Event Center on the said date anytime between 1-5 PM. All remaining VIP tickets plus Gold, Silver, and Bronze tickets can be purchased via SM Tickets, Ticketnet, and Ticketworld.

DKFC Seatplan.

Take note that this will be an open ground concert. As such, only those in the VIP Diamond section (Php 11,000) will have seats.

For updates and inquiries, please visit the official DKFC website.

Am I going, you ask?
Well, I would love to see my baby Kiseop and the rest of the UKISS boys, however, I'm not too happy about the ticket prices plus the fact that it's gonna be standing room only. Seated KPop events can get crazy, what more if everyone's standing?

Can somebody, anybody bring Super Junior or SHINee to Manila instead? I'd pay a fortune just to see Siwon again. Seriously!

Oh, and the Big Bang Galaxy Alive Tour is barely two weeks away! Fantastic Baby!!!
If you're going, let me know! Let's meet! :)

Spazz Saturday #2 | Choi Siwon + Lee Donghae.

Welcome to the second week of Spazz Saturday!
I'm thankful for the hits received by the debut post - it was more than what I expected! I'm hoping more of you can join the fun and link-up this time.

This week, I am spazzing on no other than (drum roll, please!) Siwon (the poster boy of this meme/linky party) and Donghae of Super Junior! They were in town a few days ago for the launching of their Bench product line. Oh yes, they're the latest endorser of the world-renowned brand made famous by the man himself - Mr. Ben Chan.

Check out some of Siwon and Donghae's (collectively known as 'SiHae' among Kpop fans) photos from Bench's Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.

The last photo left me with my mouth hanging open. And I'm sure the 25,000 ELFs (EverLasting Friends of Super Junior) in attendance to the 'SiHae in Manila' event would agree. :)

How about you? What's making you spazz right now? Share your posts below!

Remember, this linky party is not limited to Kpop idols or Korean stars. I just happen to be very, very, fond of them.  ;)

Spazz Saturday #1 | Jin Yi Han.

Logging into my Instagram this morning, the first thing that greeted me was Marge's (Kikay Trekkie) photo of Eli, Kevin, and Kiseop. She knows Kiseop is my UKiss bias, and her caption actually read:

@rebelsweethrt 's kiseop has his usual perfect smile while my kids are they're usual goofballs :-P

#eli #kevin #kiseop #ukiss

Take note of the possessive noun. Kiseop is mine, haha! She went on to post a few more photos - Eli (again!), then TOP, and finally Jaejoong.

Likewise, I was doing some fangirling of my own. My Big Bang Greatest Hits DVD was playing as I cleaned the house, and I was posting photos of TOP, Yoochun, and Jin YiHan in between chores.

Currently spazzing on Jin Yi Han!
I almost gave up watching #thisstupiddrama Time Slip Dr. Jin if not for him.
I'm now halfway through his 2012 drama 'Happiness in the Wind', which has 173 episodes.
I repeat, 173 episodes!!!

Inspiration struck me in the midst of this spazzing, hence, the birth of this new meme. I've been wanting to start a meme in this blog for the longest time, I just had no clue as to what the meme should be about. Thanks to Marge and these pretty Korean boys, I give you Spazz Saturday!

spazz - (1). A reaction to something crazy or weird. (2). Another word for "freak out".

What's making you spazz this week? Share your blog posts/photos in the linky below!

Just to make it clear, Spazz Saturday is not limited to Kpop/Kdrama/Korean actors. Your post could be about Hollywood actors, a British boyband, a movie, a restaurant, a pair of shoes... heck, it could even be about Chuck Norris! Whatever it is that's making you giggly and giddy right now, that's it!

Siwon + Donghae + Bench + free passes to SiHae in Manila!

If you're an ELF and your bias is either Siwon (ehem, like me) or Donghae, and if you're residing in the Philippines, then you're in luck. The boys are coming to Manila on August 15 for the launching of their Bench product line!

Bench has an ongoing promo in line with this launch, and at stake are passes to the exclusive 'SiHae in Manila' event. Seven hundred passes will be given away, which means seven hundred lucky fans will get to meet and greet the boys at the Trinoma Activity Center, where the event will be held.

I've listed below the official mechanics to the promo, as posted on the Bench website.

But then again, if you're an ELF, Siwon/Donghae-biased, I'm pretty sure this news won't even be a surprise. You could have already secured raffle tickets by now, for all I know. ;)

Oh My Gulay!

July is Nutrition Month in the Philippines and every year, schools celebrate this occasion with activities related to food, good health, and proper diet.

The theme for this year's Nutrition Month celebration is "Pagkain ng gulay ugaliin, araw-araw ihain!" and its main focus is to encourage Filipinos to increase their vegetable consumption. By doing so, micronutrient deficiencies can be addressed and non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes can also be prevented.

The Learners' Academy (aka my son's school) celebrated Nutrition Month last Friday with various classroom activities. Take a look at what my son's Kindergarten class did at school.

Huge smile from my eager beaver.

Teacher Love shows the kids what they need to do.

Yue's turn to do it.

The kids prepared vegetable salad and calamansi juice for their snack, with the assistance of Teacher Love and Teacher Erlyn, of course.

Getting ready for the good stuff. :)

A blob of mayonnaise here...

some carrots there...

Yue has so many questions in between, lol.

Mixing the ketchup...

Mix, mix, mix!

Now my son was never a picky eater, and making him eat vegetables has never been a problem. But his reaction to the carrot was epic.

The face that can ignite a war, lol.

He dipped the carrot in the ketchup-mayo mix, and the taste he found revolting. Haha! He's not too fond of either ketchup or mayonnaise, which is kinda ironic since I love mayo while the husband loves ketchup.

A-aaaa!

He has no complains about the apple, though. 'Round here, he's the Cookie Monster of apples, lol.

And when Teacher Love announced that it was time to make their own juice, the little man was more ready to pounce on the calamansi.

Check out my son's hair, inspired by Siwon of Super Junior. But of course. ;)

More of squeeze, actually.

Left hand...

Right hand...

Both hands in action! Haha!

This was one activity my son really enjoyed. He loves Elmo's Magical Cookbook a lot and he seems to have developed a liking for Gordon Ramsay and his bad-ass, don't-mess-with-the-chef attitude, so it's great that he had the chance to take a stab at 'cooking' like Elmo and Chef Ramsay.

And don't be surprised to see the moms hovering in the photos. We usually stay outside the school premises during class hours, but Teacher Love allowed us to enter the classroom so we could take photos of the kids.

Thank you, Teacher Love and TLA for letting us capture these precious moments. Can't wait for the next school activity! Anticipating August! :)

Fangirl Chronicles | Super Junior + Park Yoochun + Big Bang.

Amidst the brouhaha that is the Big Bang Alive Tour in Manila, the fact still stands that I am first and foremost, a Super Junior fangirl.

Today was a good day to stay at home (no classes today for the little man) and receive my shipment from YesAsia firsthand. Inside the package was my copy of Sexy, Free, and Single version B. And just my luck, I got a Teukie photocard!

My fellow Nappeun Yeoja and SuJu fangirl Liz tells me this is a sign that I should pay more attention to Teukie, who will be enlisted in the military soon. He is actually my first bias in the group, but lately I only have eyes for Siwon.

And you really can't blame me for that. I mean, look at those chocolate abs! :)

Speaking of Siwon, I finally got to watch Skip Beat, in between the currently airing Kdramas that I'm also watching (online) right now. And at last, he has found his way to SM City San Pablo, together with Donghae.

My little man is an ELF, too!

Yes, they're Bench endorsers, and from what I've heard from Mr. Ben Chan - owner and founder of Bench - the boys are coming to Manila next month.

Excited? You bet I am!!!
Must. See. Siwon. Must. Must. Must!

Picture bomb smiling from behind! Haha!

Or else I'd be singing to the tune of Sorry, Sorry, just like last January when he flew all the way to Manila without prior notice. Siwonnie, I need two weeks notice at least, arassoyo?

Anyhoo, my Radish Doll also made it to my doorstep today. If you're a JYJ fan or have watched The Rooftop Prince, then I'm sure you know who Radish Doll is. Pig Rabbit now has someone to keep him company.

Radish Doll + Pig Rabbit = kyeopta :)

My Big Bang Alive Tour Lightstick came in today, too. And guess what? I still don't have tickets yet!

Of all the days that my internet connection had to conk out, it had to be on the first selling day of the Alive Tour tickets. Talk about irony and sheer bad luck! The VIP seats are all sold-out since Saturday night, and so are most of the Lower Boxes. Now I really have no choice but to go for the Upper Box. But not General Admission, please!

I'll see what I can do tomorrow, when I go to SM and purchase my concert tickets from here. I hope it won't be as painstaking as last Saturday, when VIPs had to stand in a queue for hours just to buy tickets for the concert.

The little man wants to watch the concert, too.

If only I could take him along, I would. And if only the ticket prices won't cost me my arm and leg! :)

Super Junior | Take Me to the Opera!

My boys just released 'Opera',  their third Japanese single.
And they're selling like hotcakes almost sold out at YesAsia.

I'm not surprised, actually. After all, they're the best boy group ever, IMHO. Plus Opera's MV is just so spunky!
My oh my! I can't wait for their 6th full album!

Siwon Day!

My Super Junior bias is celebrating his birthday today!

Happy 26th, Choi Siwon! Saenghil chukhae!

Noona loves you! (LOL)
