Today's Look | Panda Eyes.

Whoa! It feels like ages since I did a makeup post. As evidenced by the badges on my right sidebar,  I've been working on lots and lots of giveaways lately. You might be pleased to know that there would be more giveaways coming your way. :)

Anyway, back to this FOTD post. (That's 'Face-of-the-Day', for those who are wondering.) When it comes to eyeshadow, these days I've been using more of the lighter shades (pink, green, lilac) and less of the darker ones. The sun has been unforgiving lately, and these pinks and neutrals are more suitable with this kind of heat.

Two weeks ago, however, the weather was totally different. The rain poured nonstop, all day, for a good eight days. You wouldn't even think it's summer because the downpour lasted for more than a week. That was when I had the chance to don 'panda eyes' again.

Panda eyes!

With the aid of my trusted Sleek Makeup Bad Girl i-Divine palette, of course.

My spunky Sleek Makeup!

I used four colors from this palette: a thin line of Noir on my lids, Gunmetal on the creases, Underground on the socket towards the outer V, and a sweep of Gullible to highlight the look.

Going to the dark side.

Mine isn't as heavily-rimmed as the typical panda eyes would be. I was going to the supermarket to buy meat and poultry, for crying out loud. Haha!

Channeling the 60's.
But I think I managed to get the vibe of Diana Agron's '60s screen siren look.

Now here's what I used for my version of panda eyes:

L'Oreal Base Magique Primer
Etude House Precious Minerals All Day Strong BB Cream #3
Avon Ideal Luminous Dual Powder Foundation in Shell
Avon Ideal Luminous Concealer Stick in Almond
Ever Bilena Eyebrow Liner in Brown
Sleek Makeup i-Divine Bad Girl Eyeshadow Palette
Avon Extralasting Liquid Eyeliner in Black
Kohl Royal Selections Eye Liner in Charcoal Gray
Avon Super Curlacious Waterproof Mascara in Black
Sleek Makeup Blush in Pomegranate
Jordana Double Length Lip Liner in Rose
Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipstick in Purple Hazed

Oh, and I smell a Sleek Makeup giveaway coming! :)

Great eyes - when you have your eyes open it doesn't look too much. I LOVE THE LIPS!

Looks great! I never knew that colder rainy weather means it's a good time for panda eyes- thanks for the tip. You sure have a gift for doing make-up :)
