Spotlight | Missha Viewer 270° HD Lash Curl Mascara.

The first week of March is gonna be pretty hectic with the little man's Final Exams and Quiz Bee coming up. We'll be studying like crazy for the next few days; so just in case I won't be able to get a new blog post up after this, you know the reason why.

Now before we plunge into academic madness (look at me coining words like some erudite, haha!), allow me to talk about this mascara which my husband bought (yes, he buys me makeup) a few months back. This one's from Missha and it's called the Viewer 270° HD Lash Curl Mascara.
Missha Viewer 270 HD Lash Curl Mascara.
Such a quirky name, right? Like it's a camera lens or something.
Lash Curl!
Now as per the product description, this mascara is designed to make short and soggy eyelashes look longer and give it a 270° curl. Hence the name 270° HD Lash Curl.
HD stands for yes, high definition. :)
HD, on the other hand, stands for high-definition - aka brilliant eye makeup.
Product description on the box.
The product comes in a simple yet elegant packaging - dark burgundy tube, silver cap - complete with a glossy box which I had a hard time taking pictures of because it's highly reflective.
Not tested on animals. :)
The mascara comes with a curved brush, and is formulated with the following ingredients:
Carnuba wax to ensure the mascara lasts all day long and give the illusion of longer lashes.
Silicon fluid and pearl powder to add shine and depth.
Lily extracts to protect the lashes and give them added elasticity and moisture.
Specially-designed curved brush.
I like that the brush comes out without a bunch of excess product on it. Less clumping allows you to apply the product more evenly on your lashes and makes the wand a lot easier to control.
Brush, tube, and box.
Here's the mascara in action.
My lashes are naturally long, I know. But after using the Lash Curl Mascara, they appear even longer and with a bit of curl, too. Its volumizing properties ain't so bad either, though I have used other mascaras that pack a lot more punch in this area.
Bare-faced.
My only gripe about this mascara is that it's not waterproof. And you know I have a thing for waterproof eyeliners and mascaras.
With the Lash Curl Mascara.

What I love:
- Simple yet elegant packaging.
- Lengthens and curls the lashes.
- Lightweight and quick-drying formula.
- Doesn't clump.
- Doesn't flake or smudge.
- No funky smell.
- Non-irritating, no allergic reactions to it.
- Affordable price. Husband got this for 8800 won (around Php 350 or $8).
- Not tested on animals. Yay! :)

What you might not like:
- Not waterproof, and yet it won't come off easily with just water and soap.
Nothing a good makeup remover can't handle, though. :)

I'd say your husband has an "eye" for good makeup choices! I too love that the wand isn't clumped with excessive mascara. This is just what I need for my short, stubby lashes!

Amazing! I can see the length that the mascara gives you.

You're right it is hard to get a good pic w/a reflective box. You did great though. I like the mascara. I have a straight brush now and I'm so ready to trade back to the curve.

My eyelashes are short. I always need help with them from mascara, this kind looks great on you.

Can't wait to try this!

Mascara is one of my favorite make up steps... it takes my simple lashes to dramatic so easily. I love that this one isn't tested on animals...AND your husband got it for you.

I am like you I would prefer a waterproof mascara. I personally don't care for mascara because I always had it clump on me and I had a tough time putting it on. My daughter is a pro and loves her mascara.

Nice! I like this! I thought I'd just found a good one but I can tell from your application how smooth it is. Very nice!

Mascara is my essential makeup item. I wear glasses and without mascara, I feel like my eyes disappear. Is this available in the US?

It did the job on your long lashes. It does look very beautiful!

How cool that your husband buys you makeup. You can see the difference in the second photo. This looks like a great buy to me. :-)
