Foodie Goodie | More Marks and Spencer!

The package from London arrived safely at our doorstep today. Mum went on a shopping spree around six to eight weeks ago, bought enough stuff to fill a large cargo box, and had 'em shipped here.

Mum had been a tad worried that the box might not arrive in time for Yue's first day of school. Apparently, the box contained some tons of stuff for the little schoolboy - shoes, bags, clothes... and yet even more clothes. Good thing the box came just in time. Ahead of time actually, since Yue's first day of school isn't until June 13th.

As always, our cargo box contained munchies from Marks & Spencer. The entire family loves M&S, more for their food than their clothes, haha! Mum loves their Shortbread Cookies, Yue loves their White Chocolate Chip Cookies, while I love their Chocolate and Caramel Mini Bites.

Clockwise from L-R: Triple Chocolate Crunch, Scottish Shortbread Cookies,
Gingerbread Cookies, Toy Story Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Jar of Nutella as per special request of the little man. :)

Cutie patootie buttons. :)
Looks like I'll need to burn more calories once we start digging in this M&S loot. Good luck to me! Har!

Munching on Marks and Spencer.

I can't say I'm a Marks & Spencer fan, but you'd be surprised at how much M&S stuff I have in my closet. Blame my Mum for that - she loves the brand so much. The store she frequents (not sure if it's the Leyton or the Hackney outlet in East London) even gave her an M&S credit card without having to go through the application process.

But if there's one thing I really love about M&S, it's their food! The desserts, to be exact. It's always a treat when Mum brings home Marks & Spencer munchies. I know the M&S stores in the Metro also sell food stuff, but their offering is very limited. Not like the ones they have in London.

Chocolate goodness!
These chocolates are absolutely good. Yue loves them a lot. Not exactly because of their taste.

Edible play money.
But because they are toys for him.
Speaking of toys, this one is my most favorite among our loot of M&S treats.

My cookie jar reeks of cuteness!
It's a cookie tin slash music box. It's not a box, of course. But I guess you understand what I mean. Wind it up at the bottom and that middle part (the one with the trees) rotates while playing Winter Wonderland.

White chocolate chips.
Inside are two bags of cookies - white chocolate chip cookies. So good I can finish a bag in one sitting. Oh, the calories! The irony of M&S stores - they sell clothing and food together. Bad, bad combination. :)
