Spotlight | Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream.

I think I've mentioned this before -  while I do have a skincare routine that I follow religiously, I make adjustments to it depending on the season. And now that the temperature dips low and the winds are awfully cold, I have tweaked my skincare routine accordingly by using a brightening ampoule on top of my moisturizer. (And that's after cleansing two ways, exfoliating, and toning.) Also, I have switched to a creamier moisturizer to fight the moisture-zapping temperature that we are experiencing these days.

This is the Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream, which I have been using since last month. Got this product from WishTrend, where I also got my Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream.
Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream.
One of Klairs' best-selling products, this concentrated facial cream 'provides immediate and long-term hydration for a radiant complexion'. Made with all-natural ingredients such as Jojoba seed oil and Centella asiatica (it's the same ingredient found in Kiehl's Skin Salve), this product also boasts of an infusion of yeast-derived beta glucans that 'support the skin's natural defense system and improves repair capabilities'.
Gotta love the eco-friendly packaging!
Hangul text (I reckon it's the product description) plus company info.
The Rich Moist Soothing Cream promises deep hydration, and as far as I'm considered, Klairs delivers on its promise. My skin, which tends to look dull and feel awfully dry during the cold months, could not be more grateful to this moisturizer. After a few days of continued use, the dry patches on my face were gone, no more redness around the nose, and my skin felt softer and smoother.
Comes in a jar; no spatula, though.
I use this twice a day - in the morning before I put on my makeup, and at night before I hit the sack. But I guess it'll take awhile before I run out of this product, since it's very economical to use. Because of its super creamy texture, you only need a teeny dollop for your face and neck.
See how creamy this product is?
Just a little goes a long way.
Now as far as potency is concerned, I have no complaints about this product. In fact, this baby even exceeded my expectations! My only gripe is that it does not come with a spatula - and you know how partial I am when it comes to (skincare) products in tubs, with the sanitary and contamination issues and all. Anyhoo, I guess I'll just have to buy another spatula from the local beauty store.

The Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream comes in one size only (50 mL) and sells for $23.99 (around Php 1000) at WishTrend. They do ship internationally, and offer free shipping for products worth $70 and above. You also get free samples for every purchase. :)

Project BB Cream | Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream.

My first box from WishTrend arrived a few weeks ago, which contained some of the best-selling products from the Korean skincare brand, Klairs. Also included in the box is this BB Cream - the Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream, which has earned praises from quite a handful of beauty bloggers that I know.
Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream.
Suitable for all skin types, this BB Cream hydrates, covers wrinkles and blemishes, without irritating the skin. It adjusts to your natural skin color, and gives your skin a healthy glow.
Dear Klairs. :)
It also has UV protection properties, and a decent number at that - SPF40 PA++.

Known for being an eco-friendly brand, Klairs products are cruelty-free (not tested on animals), alcohol-free, and paraben-free.
Eco-friendly.
The Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream comes in a 40 mL squeeze tube. The plastic tube is pretty easy to squeeze, and the dispenser tip lets you control the amount of product you want to use.

This BB Cream has a creamy consistency (reminds me of The Face Shop's Power Perfection BB Cream) yet it's quite easy to blend and just a little goes a long way. It provides light to medium coverage, with a semi-matte, slightly dewy finish. It's pretty lightweight too, and does not feel icky on the skin.
Here's how the BB Cream looks like.
Although this BB Cream comes in one shade only, it adjusts nicely to your skin tone. It looks a bit grayish upon application, but it gradually matches your skin color once it sets in.
Left without BB Cream, right with BB Cream.
What I love:
- Looks very natural on the skin.
- Adjusts to my skin tone, and is suitable for all skin types.
- Lightweight, non-sticky.
- Buildable coverage.
- Great staying power (around six hours on my skin).
- SPF41 PA++.
- No break-outs, no allergies, safe for sensitive skin.

What you might not like:
- Not available locally, can be purchased only from the WishTrend site.

Happy Chuseok Shopping at WishTrend!

It's Chuseok time once again! One of the most popular holidays in Korea, Chuseok (추석) is the equivalent of Thanksgiving in Western countries. It's that time of the year when Koreans reunite with their families, share food, and give thanks to their ancestors for the abundant harvest.
Little man in Hanbok (Korean traditional clothes).
This Korean holiday is usually observed for three days, but this year, Chuseok will take place from September 7 until September 10 - one day longer than the standard 3-day holiday. During Chuseok, Koreans usually travel back to their respective hometowns, spend time with their elders, hold memorial services for their departed family members, and visit ancestral graves.

Hence, most stores and offices are closed during this period to give employees a chance to observe the Chuseok holiday. For online shoppers, however, Chuseok usually means sale events and free gifts.

WishTrend, for instance, is giving away a free gift in celebration of the Chuseok holiday. An online shopping hub of beauty products, WishTrend brings Korean brands such as Tony Moly, Missha, Skin79, ElishaCoy, Klairs, etc. to the global market by means of e-commerce.

Customers who make a purchase during the period of September 7 - September 10 will receive Klair's Rich Moist Facial Soap as a Thanksgiving holiday gift.
Be Clean Natural Soap from Klairs.
Made with calamine and yerba mate, the Rich Moist Facial Soap provides excellent soothing effects on sensitive skin. It also contains argan oil, one of nature's best antioxidants, and almond oil, known for its moisturizing properties.

Part of Klair's all-new Be Clean Natural Soap line, the Rich Moist Facial Soap is recommended for those with dry, troubled, and sensitive skin. Priced at $99, shoppers can get this product free by using the code 'WISHHOLI' upon checkout.

WishTrend ships worldwide, and even offers free standard shipping for orders over $69. Delivery time is from 3-15 business days, depending on the country of destination.

And because I'm a big fan of Korean beauty brands, I'm doing a bit of shopping at WishTrend myself. Of course, I'll be claiming my free gift as well. :)

Enjoy the Chuseok holiday, and to all my Korean friends, 추석 잘 보 내 새요Chuseok jal bo nae sae yo! :)
