Nailed | Sassy Iced Mocha Nail Color.

Constant exposure to moist conditions (ergo, washing the dishes, doing the laundry) cause my nails to become brittle every now and then. But since housework is inevitable, the least I could do for my poor nails is to let them rest for about a week or so, before subjecting them to nail polish once again.

After my Etude House post, I gave my nails a much-needed break. And a very long one at that. Today - a month and a half after that particular blog entry - I summoned (lol, the term) my neighborhood manicurist to have my nails done.

I scored this nail polish some three or four weeks ago at Watson's, and finally had the chance to wear them today.

I've mentioned before that I have a preference for frosted, shimmery nail polish. But this particular Sassy Nail Color is not just frosted, it's duo chrome even!

From this perspective, all you can see is just a hint of gold shimmer.

It turns purple-ish pink against the light. And I'm absolutely loving the color/s of my nails right now!

Selling for only Php 18, the Sassy Iced Mocha kinda reminds me of MAC's limited edition Venomous Villains nail lacquer from 2010. The latter used to retail at $13-$15 each, by the way.
