Spotlight | Saforelle Gentle Cleansing Care.

Earlier this year, I won Sample Room's Instagram contest and received goodies from Because Inc. as prize. The prize pack included two 221 mL bottles of The Cream Factory Bath Cream, and a 60 mL bottle of Saforelle Gentle Cleansing Care, which I'll be featuring today.
Saforelle Gentle Cleansing Care.
Saforelle is a gentle intimate wash that delicately cleans, soothes, and protects the feminine area. Ideal for daily use, this product has a mild alkaline PH formula and contains no soap or parabens. It's also enriched with Burdock, a plant whose roots have been used for centuries to remedy a variety of ailments, some of which include colds, rheumatism, acne, psoriasis, and even bladder infections.
Soap-free and paraben-free.
Developed by medical experts, Saforelle is formulated in such a way that will not disrupt the natural pH of the vaginal flora - thus preventing itching, burning, and unusual discharge in the intimate area. This product has also been clinically tested with extensive clinical studies to support the product claims. Saforelle, by the way, is a French brand exclusively distributed in the Philippines by Because, Inc.

I've been using Saforelle for almost two weeks now, and I have had no adverse reaction thus far. It comes in a clear, liquid formula that lathers quite well. You only need a few drops to get a rich, dense foam.
Flip-top cap.
Unlike the floral-scented feminine products that I've tried, this one has an herbal, almost earthy scent. I like it nonetheless, as its mild fragrance tends to linger on the skin longer than my usual brand. I also love how this product leaves the feminine area clean, without the drying feel.
Shelf life of three years.
Saforelle comes in two sizes, both of which are within the reasonable price range. The 60 mL bottle costs Php 99.75, while the 100 mL bottle is priced at Php 159.75. You can find Saforelle at Landmark (Trinoma and Makati), Robinsons Department Stores, and South Star Drug branches.

Have you tried Saforelle before? How was your experience?

Spotlight | The Cream Factory Bath Cream.

Just as I am a sucker for perfumes with hints of vanilla or cherry blossoms, I'm also a patsy for anything with milk or honey when it comes to body wash and liquid soaps. And when I saw my Instagram timeline flooded with photos of this new bath cream made with goat's milk, I was like, "Where do I buy this? And how?!"

Lucky for me, Sample Room had 150 samples in stock earlier this week. And luckier for me that I was able to snag one. (You have no idea how fast those Sample Room ninjas are! One email announcement, and whoosh! The next thing you know, the product you are vying for is already out of stock. Lol.)

And so here it is, the bath cream that I've been eyeing for the past few weeks. It's also my first online purchase of the year. Well, I can't even call it a purchase because I got the item for free. All I paid for was the shipping fee, which costs Php 130 (provincial rate).
The Cream Factory, courtesy of Sample Room.
Now here's a little background about The Cream Factory. Their story is pretty simple, actually. They started with Goat's Milk from the Netherlands, which is prized for its quality and purity. It's loaded with essentials (vitamins D, C, E, B1, B6, B12) that's good for both the skin and body.
Real goat's milk from the Netherlands!
Then they added active botanical extracts to make the formulation even better and to further address specific skin needs. As for me, I got the one with Honey, which is all too perfect for my sensitive skin.
Goat's milk & Honey.
In case you didn't know, honey contains anti-microbial properties which helps protect the skin. It's a great anti-ageing agent, and has the ability to absorb and retain moisture - keeping the skin hydrated, soft, and supple.
Kills germs, moisturizes the skin. :)
Now if honey isn't your cup of tea, there are eleven other variants to choose from. Here's the rundown: Goat’s Milk & Almond: The Detoxifying Soap
Goat’s Milk & Jojoba: The Clarifying Soap
Goat’s Milk & Yogurt: The Soothing Soap
Goat’s Milk & Seaweed: The Revitalizing Soap
Goat’s Milk & Cinnamon: The Purifying Soap
Goat’s Milk & Avocado: The Radiating Soap
Goat’s Milk & Acai Berry: The Age-Defying Soap
Goat’s Milk & Witch Hazel: The Rejuvenating Soap
Bath cream, baby!
And you can also choose between two sizes. What I have here is the 221ml sample size. They're actually sold in bundled packs of three, priced at Php 799. Then there's also the 768ml full-sized bottle, which costs Php 699.

What I love:
- The scent! One whiff and I'm sold! And yes, the scent lingers on your skin for hours.
- The uber-cute milk bottle packaging. And no, they're not made of glass.
- Thick and creamy; just a little goes a long way.
- Effectively moisturizes the skin.
- Twelve variants to choose from, each addressing a specific skin need/problem.
- Made with natural ingredients.
- No harmful chemicals.
- Not tested on animals.

What you might not like:
- My only concern is that they're not available at the supermarket near my place. But then again, I can always order online. :)

Have you tried this bath cream? What's your favorite 'flavor'? :)

Spotlight | Celeteque Radiance Body Cream.

If there's one skincare product that I can't live without, it's lotion. I'm a self-confessed lotion addict. I love 'em so much to the point that I have all sorts of brands and scents lined up in my dresser, ready for my disposal.

And so when I chanced upon the Celeteque Radiance Body Cream in the Sample Room inventory, I got a sample right away without even thinking twice. Especially after seeing that the sample you'll be getting is actually a full-sized product.
Celeteque Radiance Body Cream.
So here, my dear readers, is the 200 mL bottle of the Celeteque Radiance Body Cream. Actual retail price is Php 270, and they're available at most drugstores and supermarkets.
Multi-Bright Complex for fairer skin!
And as per product description, this product contains MultiBright Complex - 'a revolutionary fusion of seven plant extracts that reduces melanin to help achieve fairer and even-toned skin'. The seven plant extracts refer to the following: mallow, peppermint, cowslip, lady's mantle, fluellen, balm mint, and yarrow. I listed them down just in case any of you are allergic to the plants mentioned above. As for me, my sensitive skin had no allergic reactions to this product.
Comes in an easy-to-squeeze bottle.
I still can't attest to the whitening properties of this product, as I've been using this for barely a week. I'll keep you all posted for any significant changes in my skin tone. But for now, I'm really loving this product's moisturizing properties - it makes your skin smooth and supple, and gives it a healthy, radiant glow.
Squeeze it, baby!
For a body cream, this product's texture is actually very light and silky, and is easily absorbed by the skin. It's non-greasy, and doesn't feel icky even when you're wearing it on a hot and humid day. Plus points for the Radiance Body Cream's sun protection factor (SPF15).
Light and non-greasy. :)
This product is unscented (or at least that's what my olfactory nerves tell me) which is okay with me, though I must admit I prefer my lotions scented.

What I love:
- Leaves the skin smooth and supple.
- Makes the skin radiant and glowing.
- SPF 15.
- Texture is light and non-greasy.
- Easily absorbed by the skin.
- Hypoallergenic.
- Comes in a sleek, easy-to-squeeze bottle.
- Affordable price.
- Available at local drugstores and supermarkets.

What you might not like:
- None that I can think of. :)

From the looks of it, this product will easily make its way to my list of favorite lotions. How about you, what's your favorite lotion? :)

Spotlight | Cure Natural Aqua Gel.

All the rave and positive reviews I've read about Cure Natural Aqua Gel has made me really curious. I mean, what's so great about this product that makes it sell like hotcakes in Japan?

And so when Sample Room announced two weeks ago that they finally have stocks of Cure available, I glued myself in front of the laptop and took a shot at getting free product samples. Luckily, I was able to snag a trial pack along with samples of C-Lium Fibre, which made for my first-ever Sample Room haul.

Here's how the free sample (yes, they're free!) of Cure looks like.
The Cure. :)
It contains five 3-gram sachets good for five days, as per the Sample Room website. From my experience, though, one sachet can last up to two uses.
Cure sachets.
I'm glad that the leaflet has all the information you need about the product. I appreciate the fact that they're written in English. Not in Hiragana or Katakana, as I thought they would be.
A facial in a bottle! (Or a sachet, for that matter.)
Cure FAQs.
So what exactly is Cure?
It's an exfoliant that's made of 90% water (hydrogen water, to be exact).
Unlike most exfoliants, Cure doesn't contain beads or gritty particles which can leave the skin red and dry. Cure contains no preservatives, no coloring, no mineral oil, which makes it suitable even for the most sensitive skin.
Crystal clear.
Now here's how you use this product.
Remember, no rubbing or scrubbing! :)
And here's Cure in action.
Before Cure - dull skin, visible pores, tired face.
Those white particles are actually dead skin. And that's a lot of 'em coming from my face. My goodness!
Goodbye, dead skin!
The results? A brighter and cleaner face, with skin that's soft to touch! I fell in love with Cure at first try! This product sure does wonders for your skin!
Don't mind the eyebags, haha!
I've been using Cure on my face and neck for almost two weeks now, and I'm very pleased with the results. Now I understand why the Japanese go gaga over this product - as in one bottle of Cure is sold every 12 seconds in Japan! It's crazy, yes, but now I know why! :)
My no-makeup, after-Cure face. :)
Count on me to go full-size once I'm done with the sachets. It's a bit expensive though, with a 250g bottle priced at Php 1500. But after seeing how great this product is and how a little amount goes a long way, I wouldn't mind spending a few extra bucks for something that works, and works wonders.

What I love:
- Gentle on the skin, safe even for those with sensitive skin.
- Does a great job of removing dead skin.
- Non-drying, non-irritating.
- Free from preservatives, mineral oil, and artificial coloring.
- Leaves the skin bright and clear, smooth and supple.
- Just a little goes a long way.

What you might not like:
- It's a bit pricier than the common exfoliant, but you do get your money's worth with this product.

Sample Room, finally!

Over the weekend, I received my first-ever haul from Sample Room. If you're following me on Instagram and Twitter, then chances are, you've seen this photo on your timeline or my profile page.
Sample Room haul! My first ever! :)
I'm a late-bloomer to the Sample Room craze, I know. It's been all the rage for the past few months, and I'm joining the bandwagon just now. You see, my previous attempts at getting free samples were futile. (Yes, you heard me right. Free!) Samples run out very fast, and each time I try to grab one (or two) they're already out of stock! But luck was on my side this time, and I managed to snag these for my myself. Finally!

So what's inside my Sample Room haul?
First, there's Cure Natural Aqua Gel, which is said to be Japan's number one exfoliator. Seeing how "one bottle is sold every 12 seconds in Japan", then I guess this product must be really, really good. Sample size for this product is five sachets, for five days' use.

Next up is C-Lium Fibre in capsule form. After my Brand Ambassador stint with A-Life, I've gotten to know more about other Pascual Laboratories products, and C-Lium Fibre is one of them. I decided to give this product a try because I've heard good reviews about it, plus I have bathroom (and weight, lol) issues that I need to address. Haha! Sample size, by the way, is 60 capsules good for six days.

Of course, I'll be sharing my experience with these products here in my blog. That means more product reviews in the days to come. :)
