November 11, or 11.11 is an observance in South Korea similar to Valentine's Day. Because the date 11.11 resembles four sticks of Pepero placed side by side, the day has become known as
Pepero Day.
For those who do not know,
Pepero is a brand of cookie sticks dipped in chocolate syrup. Manufactured by Lotte Confectionery, the brand has been in the market since 1983. And on Pepero Day, young people and couples exchange Pepero sticks, sweets, and other romantic gifts
