Foodie Goodie | Max's Kare-kareng Pinoy.

Mother-in-law turned 60 yesterday, and in celebration of her birthday, Yue and I had dinner with the rest of the family at Max's Restaurant.

Eyes bulging in hunger? Haha!
Four out of the seven grandchildren were present, so mealtime was rowdy as usual. It would have been chaos had all of the kids were there.

Yue was famished by the time we got to Max's and didn't have to think twice about what to order. Along with their signature fried chicken, the Kare-Kareng Pinoy is our favorite dish at Max's.

Too bad I wasn't able to take photos of the other dishes we had last night. Yue and I were so focused on this kare-kare, lol. And when he was full, he went back to playing with his cousins - something he doesn't get to do very often.

Getting a decent photo of Yue was quite a challenge, as he was distracted by Angry Birds and Pororo and Raw vs Smackdown. Lol.
