Foodie Goodie | Bangus Sisig.

My three year old loves to eat fish. He loves them so much that if you make him choose between breaded porkchop or fried tilapia, he'd pick the latter any day. And this is why I see to it that we have a fish dish (or two) on our weekly menu.

Lately though, I have been craving for sisig. Yue doesn't like this dish so buying one of those ready-to-cook sisig from Monterey would be a bit too much. They only come in 500g packs, and that's just a whole lot to eat by my lonesome.

So while at the supermarket yesterday, Yue and I had a concensus. We're having fish and sisig in one dish.

Today's menu: Bangus Sisig.
I found this while rummaging through the frozen fish section of SM Supermarket. It's available in 200g packs so I decided to buy one and give it a try.

Both Yue and I loved it! The seasoning was just right, and it wasn't spicy at all. It has a little bite to it, but hardly noticeable when squeezed with calamansi and eaten with rice. Aigoo! Looking at the photo is making me hungry again. Haha!

  3. I also like sisig but because I have 2 kids at home and we're only three I prefer not to have it in the house because of its being spicy maybe when my husband is around we could also cook sisig and make him to try it. Mine is up and its here thanks Sahm’s Dining Diary
